Brad Renfro, found dead yesterday, at 25
25-year-old actor Brad Renfro was found dead yesterday morning in Los Angeles. According to the L.A. County Coroners Office, Renfro was likely to have been partying and drinking with friends the night before his death. The cause of death has not yet been determined, but an autopsy could be expected as early as today.
Renfro had a history of drug use, but was working on staying clean, following several drug convictions.
His attorney, Richard Kaplan said yesterday that Brad was working hard on his sobriety and he was doing well. He also said that Brad was a nice person.
Renfro just finished his role in a new movie with Winona Ryder and Billy Bob Thornton, called The Informers. Brad was best known for his roles in Apt Pupil and The Client.
