Dr. Phil: I’m not a doctor, but I play one on TV

Dr. Phil

Dr. Phil is in trouble!

A psychologist has lodged a complaint against Dr. Phil, insisting that the TV show doctor’s appearance to see Britney Spears at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center was the good doctor “practicing psychology”. As it turns out, Dr. Phil was never licensed to practice in California and his Texas license has been no good since 2006.

Dr. Phil’s peeps are saying that they never had plans to put Britney Spears on the air. I believe that one. If Britney would’ve said yes, they would’ve been all over that ratings extravaganza.

Besides that, wasn’t it Britney who wouldn’t give Dr. Phil the time of day? How did he practice anything, besides how to accept rejection and walk out the door?

The psychologist has also started a petition to get Dr. Phil off the air.
