Lil’ Wayne pleads not guilty to gun charges in New York

Rapper Lil’ Wayne has appeared at an arraignment hearing in New York, pleading not guilty to gun charges.

He was in court yesterday facing two felony charges of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree.

The charges stem from an incident last July when police found a handfun stashed in his tour bus, following a performance with Ja Rule.

If convicted, he faces up to three-and-a-hald years in prison due to the city’s strict gun laws.

And to add more legal trouble, he is also facing drugs and weapons charges in Arizona after a border patrol inspection of his tour bus allegedly revealed marijuana, cocaine, ecstasy and drug paraphernalia as well as a 40-caliber pistol.

So, if one state won’t get him, the other one will.
