David Beckham is okay after fan attack

Well, maybe not “attack”, per se, but the guy had to be dragged off of the mound. David Beckham is playing down the “security scare” that involved a crazed fan running up to the pitch. Don’t you just love it that the media has already labeled this a security scare? Come on, it was just a dude running up to the mound to high five David, nothing more.
David says, “He didn’t have a smile on his face and he didn’t have a Galaxy shirt on, so I didn’t know if he was going to come and give me a hug or something else. These things happen in games all over the world. Luckily, he just wanted to give me a high five and that was the end of it.”
I guess some fans will do whatever it takes to meet their idols?
