Britney Spears was a no show for the fifth attempt from K-Fed’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, to depose her. Sources say that the fact she didn’t show for the deposition was a factor in her lawyers’ decision to file papers today asking to withdraw as counsel.
We’ll see what she has to say about this one. Last time her excuse was that she was too ill to show, but she was caught partying the same night.

Adding to Britney’s legal troubles, she runs over a police officer’s foot at the L.A. County Courthouse:
We’re told the “traffic collision complaint” was filed by the Sheriff’s Department and the LAPD is conducting an “active investigation.” We’re told the LAPD is looking at the possibility of hit and run.
The incident occurred as Brit was leaving the L.A. County Courthouse after her custody hearing.

Looks like OJ is in hot water with the law yet again, this time a white Bronco is not involved.
Reports from Las Vegas have been less than clear, as OJ has been accused of taking back some sports memorabilia from a collector with several associates, one of which had a gun.
