Mary-Kate Olsen is still reportedly refusing to be interviewed over Heath Ledger’s accidental drug overdose, unless she receives immunity from prosecution.
I have to wonder what exactly she knows, because you don’t hear of people asking for immunity unless they’ve done something wrong….right?
According to the New York Post, she refuses to speak and her lawyer claims she won’t be interviewed “unless she gets immunity, exercising her constitutional rights.”

Comedian George Carlin has passed away. He was 71-years old. He was known for his cussing and provocative stand up comedy. He died of heart failure at a L.A. hospital yesterday.
He had a long history of heart problems and drug dependency and was admitted to Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, earlier yesterday. He passed away last night.
Wow, I’m in shock over this one. He was definitely one of the great funnymen of our time. He’ll be missed.
Carlin leaves a daughter, Kelly, who is 45.

Academy Award-winning director Sydney Pollack, who achieved commercial success and critical acclaim with the comedy “Tootsie” and the period drama “Out of Africa” has died following a battle with cancer.
He was 73.

Charlton Heston has passed away in his home Saturday night, with his wife by his side. He was 84 years old.

Daniel Smith’s death has been ruled as an accidental overdose, sources say. A jury in the Bahamas deliberated for two hours before reaching their verdict and has ruled Daniel’s death as a “non-dependent use of drugs” which means he wasn’t addicted to the drugs he was taking and he didn’t know that they would kill him.

Too many stars are dying so young due to drug overdoses. Corinne Bailey Rae’s husband, Jason Rae, was found dead after a suspected drug overdose. He was the saxophonist for the band Haggis Horns.
Her record label, EMI, is asking that the press respect her privacy during this tough time.
Heck, I didn’t even know who he/she/they were until this happened.

The inquest into Anna Nicole’s son, Daniel’s death has revealed that he died of a massive methadone overdose.
An expert said that he had ingested so much of the painkiller that it could not have been accidental or for “recreational use”. The court was also told that it wasn’t necessarily suicide, either.
He was found to have taken as many as eight tablets that could have been dissolved in a liquid that could have camouflaged their taste.
