Fiddy won’t be changing his name anytime soon. For now, 50 Cent is suing mad at Taco Bell for using his name in advertising to promote their “Why pay more?” campaign.

They reportedly asked the rapper to change his name from 50 Cent to 79, 89, or 99 Cent for a day.

He’s suing for $4 million in damages.

50 Cent has been ordered to hand over any guns that he has to the local authorities. After Shaniqua Tompkins, his ex-girlfriend, secured a restraining order against him, he’s been told to fork over his weapons.

She still thinks he was the culprit of torching his Long Island mansion.

Following the court’s instruction to hand over all firearms in Mr Jackson’s possession as part of the restraining order, his lawyer Brett Kimmel said he would be contesting the ruling, adding: “To my knowledge, he has no guns”.

She must really be scared of Fiddy. Now that they’re in the public eye so much, it would be suspect if she turned up missing…wouldn’t it? I mean, it’s bad enough that 50 evicted her and their son, but this fire thing is baffling me for the moment.

What motivation would he have to do this?

50 Cent is said to be seeking to sue his ex-girlfriend, Shaniqua Tompkins, for defamation after she accused him of causing the fire that set his New York mansion ablaze.

Shortly after the blaze, she told the press: “He tried to kill me and his own child. I know this came from 50 Cent.”

But 50 Cent has slammed the claims, and his lawyers are now preparing a defamation complaint against Tompkins, reports the New York Daily News.

His attorney Brett Kimmel says, “There comes a point where you can no longer sit on your hands and listen to her spread these falsehoods. Besides hurting his reputation, they have a damaging impact on their son.”

See, isn’t this much better than the Charlie Sheen/Denise Richards feud?

I hope that he gets vindicated in this one. I don’t think he’d be mean or cruel enough to set fire to his own house, let alone the house that is home to his son.

Both rappers will be appearing on BET’s “106 & Park” to promote their new albums as well as furthering their feud.

BET is hyping this event, even going so far as to bring in ESPN anchor and Odie lookalike Stuart Scott to give breakdowns on each rapper.

I wonder who is going to come out on top in this one, the guy that wears pink shirts or the one with the bullet proof vest?
